There are two international airports in Seoul. Kimpo International airport was constructed during the famous Korean war to provide space for landing and it became a part of the city map only in 1963. Previously there used to be only one international airport in Seoul. Kimpo International airport is situated at a distance of 10 miles away from the main city and there are city limousine buses which will help in providing transportation to the world trade centre while passing through the Olympic express highway. The Incheon International airport is the largest airport in the country and it is located at a distance of 43 miles on the western part of Seoul on an island. An express way helps in connecting this island to Seoul as well as the Kimpo International airport. Flights from Korean airlines and Asiana airlines will be landing at this airport and they will help in connecting people to at least 70 domestic as well as international airports.
There are three main terminals at the Kimpo International airport. Flights from KLM, JAL, British airways, United airlines and Cathay Pacific will land in the first terminal. The second terminal is meant for international passengers who will be taking International flights which belong to Asiana airways, Korean air, Swissair, Lufthansa, Qantas, Air France and Air New Zealand. The third terminal will be used by passengers who are travelling by Asiana airways and Korean air. The landing terminal should always be confirmed before take off.
People who are traveling to Seoul for the first time should also be aware about the language which needs to be spoken there. Korean language is the main medium of conversation and communication though there are some people who definitely speak English there.
